Hobby Alert

This is a hobby project built by a pilot who likes to code. It's provided "as-is" with absolutely no guarantees. By using this service, you acknowledge that:

No Guarantees Whatsoever

Uptime: The server might go down. Maybe I forgot to pay the hosting bill, or maybe a squirrel chewed through a cable somewhere. Who knows?
Data Persistence: While your data is kept as safe as possible, backups are your friend. Export your logs regularly because, well, things happen.
Features: Bugs exist. Features might break. That cool new feature you wanted? It's on the "someday maybe" list along with learning to wingover.
Support: Support is best-effort. I'm probably out flying when you need help (priorities, right?).

The Service Might Disappear

This is a hobby project. Life happens. If maintaining this becomes too much work, or if I decide to take up knitting instead of coding, the service might shut down. You'll get reasonable notice (probably), but don't count on this being here forever. Again: export your data regularly.

Use at Your Own Risk

This app logs flights; it doesn't make aviation decisions for you. Don't trust it for anything safety-critical. Check your equipment yourself, make your own go/no-go calls, and if the app says your wing has 500 hours when it really has 800, that's on you for not noticing.

Privacy & Data

Check out the Privacy Policy for the details on how your data is handled. Short version: your data isn't sold, it isn't shared, and keeping it safe is a priority.

Be Cool

Don't abuse the service. No hacking, no spamming, no storing illegal stuff. Just use it to log your flights like a normal person. If you find a security issue, please report it responsibly via the support page instead of exploiting it. Be the pilot you'd want to share airspace with.

Changes to These Terms

These terms might change. If they do, this page will be updated. You might be notified, you might not—honestly, it depends on how significant the changes are and whether I remember to send notifications. Check back occasionally.

The Legal Stuff

Disclaimer of Warranties: This service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability: No liability exists for any damages arising from your use (or inability to use) this service. Seriously, don't sue over a free flight logging app.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by common sense and the principle of "don't be a jerk." If we need actual lawyers to interpret this, something has gone terribly wrong.
